Electricity in the plantroom
Well i am only going to cover Electrical installasion as a guide, mainly a guide to explain my thoughts on this subject.
I am not a qualified electrician so will never try to give specific advice on this subject. My main reason for mentioning this is safety.
As a reference point i will say ” LEAVE IT TO THE PROFESSIONALS”. In a well maintained plantroom enviroment your pool installer would have ensured everything is safe, but as i have seen so many times in older plantrooms, which are poorly looked after… this is not the case and great care should be taken when attempting to alter or tamper with any of the installation.
As an example-in my company we employ a full qualified, highly experienced electrician and he alone is responsible for all installations and maintenance of all the electrical equipment.
In this day and age of strict health and safety laws here in the UK and i assume most of the modern world, it would be madness for a company to advocate the use of poorly trained swimming pool engineers in any work they carry out, but more like insanity to allow someone to tamper with electricity.
